Shift Culture — Mobile App

Opt out in the app (one tap)

The Shift Culture app records first-party usage analytics and shares a limited set of hashed conversion events with advertising platforms (currently Meta) to measure our own ads. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) that sharing counts as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn all of it off at any time:

Profile → Privacy → Usage analytics → Off

Turning the toggle off stops new optional first-party usage events and supported advertising data sharing for your account. It does not disable required app-update or notification infrastructure, including operational identifiers used by Expo and Google. The app's core features still work with optional usage analytics off.

iOS tracking permission

On iPhone, the app asks for tracking permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline (or change your mind later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking), the app respects that choice.

Marketing messages

SMS and email marketing subscriptions are strictly opt-in. Shift Culture may synchronize your account and voluntary profile details to Klaviyo before marketing consent; that profile sync does not subscribe you to marketing. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option, or email us and we'll submit the appropriate opt-out request.

Everything else

To exercise any other right — access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out request made for you by an authorized agent — email marketing@shiftcultureofficial.com with the subject "Privacy Request." You can also delete your account entirely in the app at Profile → gear icon → Account → Delete account, or use our account-deletion request page if you cannot access the app.

Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
